Zune Outdoor Concert Series with Bend Sinister and Metric
What better way to experience a sunny Whistler Village day with an outdoor concert presented by Zune with two bands who rocked out tunes to the onslaught of listeners.

Granade Games Halfpipe
Snow, Sunshine, (sunburns?) snowboarding, swag, super-fantastic awesome! The Grenade Games Halfpipe continued the string of events for snowboarding athletes (culminates tonight with big air/slopestyle at the bottom of Whistler)
The Media Frenzy lining the pipe was a spectacle of it's own.
Cash prizes were given out for specific feats of splendor: biggest air, biggest crash, Handplanting the log and more.

Sounds of the Festival
In the words of a great scholar 'Music Makes the People come Together' -Madonna
We are at two, going on three straight sunny days at the Telus World Ski Snowboard Festival in Whistler BC. The festival's famous concerts continue to go on under the snowy peaks and sunny skies.

What are 2 things that go well together?
Sunshine and concerts!! And we had plenty of it today!!!
The Pontiac stage in the Village square saw bands perform all day including: The Tell Tales, We are the City, Nifficant and City of Glass.
The Ghost Brothers also put on a great show!
Lots of happy fans enjoying the shows and the nice warm weather.
The State of the Art gallery was open again today! Displaying a wide variety of paintings, photographs, wood work and much much more! Go and check it out!
